SAXCO
The following are examples of marking initiatives I led or executed while working as the Assistant Marketing Manager at Saxco International, a packaging distributer for the food and beverage industries.
SAXCO REBRANDING
For this project, I was tasked with taking aspects of recently-updated capability decks and turning them into a re-brand for the Saxco Corporation. I created two brand style guides, for internal and external use, which outlined the brand voice, company messaging, logo designs and alternate lockups, typography, category specific color usage, imagery, and iconography.
SAXCO TRUCK WRAPS
Advertising on the move. I designed the wraps for our bobtail and 53’ trailer trucks for Saxco’s transportation department. This included three different treatments, one per our most successful categories. For this project, I also did price comparisons between truck wrapping vendors, and oversaw the completion of the wrapping on our first truck.
SINGLE IMAGE SERIES
This series of advertisements that I conceptualized and delivered utilized a single arresting image to catch the attention and break out of the norms of the common advertising troupes within the packaging industry. Each advertisement spoke to a specific need per category, addressing the value add which Saxco could fulfill for our customer.
SELL SHEETS
In order to assist our Sales Department, I created a multitude of sell sheets, which included product guides, sale and long list sheets, value added services series and category-specific sell sheets detailing our capabilities. These sell sheets would often be accompanied by a corresponding digital marketing campaign in the form of email marketing.
SOCIAL MEDIA
I was in charge of our social media strategy, with a goal to promote brand recognition and company voice on our social platforms. Using best practices for B2B social media marketing, I developed and executed a monthly calendar with targeted focus for our market segments.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
For video production, I wrote scripts, edited video and audio content, and sourced stock videos for internal and external video content. Our internal videos were for educational purposes to assist our sales team, while external videos were to expand upon our social media content. This example is a piece I created in three days for #NationalCustomerServiceWeek, using Premier Pro and Adobe Spark video.
